Cooper's Landing is a facet of the distinct culture that is found on the Missouri River. The people found there are diverse, yet they make up a tight knit community. They prize music, friends, and food and work together to make a better community. Strong personalities make up a strong community that gives the riverbanks character.

Fred Jentsen travels the country with his partner Dora, living where he can find food and shelter . Growing up in Michigan, he was bred with a love of hockey and elk hunting. At Cooper's Landing he and Dora have been helping Mike Cooper clean up after the flood that affected much of the Missouri river and enjoying the life that their new community affords.

A breast cancer survivor and state-to-state traveler, Dora Fuller always wears a smile on her face. She and Fred Jensten currently reside in an RV on the Cooper's Landing grounds where they help Mike Cooper with the upkeep of the marina. The scenic surroundings and tight-knit community at Cooper's Landing has helped Dora heal and enjoy life. 

Naked Dave Bandy is Cooper's Landing's most prolific musician. Dave's easygoing guitar and passionate voice carry melodies that are rich with love for the Missouri River Valley and carry a local spirit. Every weekend fans come from all over Boone County to experience the musical culture that Dave and other local singer-songwriters make up. Dave and his fellow musicians learn each others songs and develop eachother's musicat the singer-songwriter jam every Wednesday evening. 

After working as a substitute teacher in the Columbia Public School District, Nathan Smith needed to find something to do with his summer off in Cooper's Landing. His parents let him take their RV and now he resides in the Cooper's Landing grounds. He spends his time repairing bikes to sell in the future. He also uses his mechanical skill to repair a cars.
