Three journalism students, some recording gear and a river

 

This series of stories about Cooper's Landing was filmed, photographed, recorded and edited by Beatriz Costa-Lima, Marshall Maxwell and Jack Howard. The three of us are journalism students at the University of Missouri.

All we knew when we drove down to Cooper's Landing in early June was that there was a river and some nice people there. After spending several days at the marina, we got to know various residents, workers and visitors. We sought to document some of the stories of the people we encountered and give a glimpse of the unique lifestyle and community at Cooper's Landing.
